The 101 Club
The owners' club for the Land Rover 101 Forward Control. A not-for-profit club run by and for the people who keep these vehicles on the road.
What is a 101 Forward Control?
The Land Rover 101 Forward Control is a military vehicle built at Solihull between 1972 and 1978. Around 2,668 were made, mostly for the British armed forces. Its forward-control layout places the cab over the engine, and it takes its name from its 101-inch wheelbase.
Surviving vehicles are now owned by civilian enthusiasts. The 101 Club exists to bring those owners together, to share knowledge and spares, and to help keep the remaining vehicles running.
Joining the club
Membership costs £15 a year. Members receive the club newsletter, use of the volunteer-operated club shop for merchandise and spare parts, and access to the members' area.
